The fifth Ironstone Chamber Music Festival took place last week-end. The musicians played 3 concerts, consisting of traditional and modern music, to practically full houses (churches!), culminating in Mendelssohn’s String Quintet, which received a standing ovation. None of this could have happened without the following people:-
Sue and Mike Patching, Vanessa and Julie (also Lottie and Joseph), John and Alison Tite, David Kyle, Margaret Condon, Helen and Tony Ellis, Graham Curd, Tim Allitt, Charles Cozens, Bob Barnwell and Edna Seed.
Many thanks to you all
Chris and Tessa
Latest update:
Thames Water will need to close Wroxton Lane in order to mend the ongoing leak. They will not do this until the B4100 closure has ended. It is likely to commence on 26 September.
Fingers still crossed then!
