Ladies Guild

About

The Ladies Guild was originally called the Altar Guild and was formed to support the upkeep of the Church. We meet informally every two or three months to plan and organise various fund-raising events in the village in support of the Church and other charities. Meetings are very informal and accompanied by wine and nibbles!

Fund Raising Events Held

We usually run a Summer Fete in June and a Christmas Market in late November, both of which raise funds to support the up keep of our beautiful and historic Church.  We also organise a fund raising event (e.g. a coffee morning or a quiz) to support the Breast Cancer Now charity in October and arrange other one off events in support of various charities relevant to the Ladies Guild.

Church Rota

We organise the rota of volunteers who clean the Church, polish the brass and arrange the flowers, so if you like arranging flowers or would be prepared to help in any way, it would be most appreciated.

Contacts

New members are always very welcome – if you would like to join the Ladies Guild, please email either of us or just come along to one of our meetings in the School House.
