A meeting of the Horley Parish Council will be held prior to the Annual Parish Meeting at The Old Schoolrooms at

7.00 pm on THURSDAY 27th MAY 2021. 

The meeting is open to the public.  Anyone wishing to address the Council on an item appearing on the agenda is requested to notify the Clerk of the Council two days in advance of the meeting.

The annual Horley Parish Meeting will take place at The Old Schoolrooms at 7.30 pm on 27th May 2021.  This is an open meeting organised by the Parish Council at which any parishioner is welcome to address the meeting or ask questions. Car parking on Wroxton Lane – South end of the village

A proposed plan to address the parking issues on Wroxton Lane at the south end of the village near the brook has been put forward by the Parish Council and is described in the recent copy of Horley Views.

The plans allow for an off-road parking area for eight vehicles, a new access point and an off-road path.

Before seeking full planning permission, the Parish Council is asking all residents of the village to review this project and show their support by sending a simple email or letter to the Parish Clerk, David Beck at horleypc@gmail.com.

Your Parish Council Needs a Clerk

Horley Parish Council Needs a New Clerk

Horley Parish Council is looking for a new Clerk to take over in the New Year.  If you think you could find about five hours a week to undertake this interesting role, please see Clerk Advert.

Any necessary training will be provided, and if possible arrangements will be made for the new clerk to shadow the existing clerk, David Marriott, so that as smooth handover can be be made.
