A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the Ladies Guild Cheese & Wine Bingo Night on Saturdy in aid of Katharine House Hospice and St Etheldreda’s. What a fabulous evening it turned out to be — around 135 people gathered in the beautiful Hadsham Barn, filling it with laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of cheese-fuelled enthusiasm.

We’d like to give special thanks to The Taylors for providing such a stunning venue, Chipping Norton Events for supplying tables, chairs and glasses, Hornton Pavilion for additional chairs and tables and The Michael Hardinge Trust for crockery and cutlery. A big thank you also goes to Sarah Walther, who generously donated a fantastic pamper hamper as one of the raffle prizes, and to everyone else from the Ladies Guild who contributed items to the raffle — your kindness helped make the night even more exciting.

We still have some donations coming in, so we’ll share the final fundraising total later in the week.

Finally, an enormous thank you to the brilliant team who organised the event — Sarah, Ellie, Carlie, Tracey, Rachel, Fiona and Sandra. Their hard work, creativity and good humour made the evening such a joy for everyone who attended.
