Hornton History Group are staging a talk in St John’s Church on Thursday 10th November by a member of TV’s time Team, Keith Westcott.
It’s all about the huge Roman villa unearthed in the grounds of Broughton Castle.
“Keith started out as a diving detectorist, leading on to important discoveries of national significance,” says HHG’s Laurie Furneaux. “Television’s Time Team have got involved with the Broughton excavation, so we’ll get an early take on the findings with this talk.”

Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the coffee morning in aid of Breast Cancer Now on Saturday. We raised the fantastic sum of £705!
