As we all worry about the rises in the cost of gas/electric/oil, Ukraine are struggling with erratic power supplies and cold temperatures. So in addition to the food and general items listed below, our appeal is now asking for warm coats, jumpers, socks and single duvets (either new or in good condition). Please continue to support the Banbury teams amazing efforts to provide relief to those in Ukraine.
General household items: Candles, torches, camping stoves, floor and washing liquids, sponges, mops and buckets, toilet paper, kitchen rolls, house cleaning products, single duvets, pillows and bed linen (new or in very good condition please)
Food items for quick preparation: Cans of food with ring pulls, pasta, rice, noodles, chunky soups, cooking sauces, cooking oil, tomato concentrate, flour, yeast, long life/dry milk, tea, coffee, sugar, salt, biscuits, energy bars, dried fruit and nuts, sweets
Medical items: Pain killers, bandages, plasters, disinfectant wipes, disinfectant creams, cough syrups
Babies and children’s products: Nappies, wet wipes, baby milk, baby food, children’s snacks, sweets.
Toiletries: Toothpaste, tooth brushes, soap, wet wipes, shampoo, shower gel, women’s hygiene items, body creams
Items for pets: Wet or dry food
Items can be left in the box under Rita’s porch – if you don’t know the address please ask anyone in the Ladies Guild, as I don’t want to give out an address on this post
