Horley’s Knit and Stitch Group This Thursday

Feeling Creative and want to share your talents and ideas or gain from other peoples’ experience?

Then come along to the next meeting of the  ‘Knit and Stitch’ group on Thursday.

Enjoy a friendly evening where you may pick up useful tips and enjoy some homemade shortbread! Various crafts are carried out, including knitting, crochet, tapestry and quilting.  You may like to become involved with the refurbishment of the church kneelers.

For further information and pictures look here.

The group meet every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the week at the Old School from 7 – 9pm (see calendar for actual dates).

There is a small charge of £2, which goes towards hiring the room, but if there are any young, school students who’d like to come along then there will be no charge.

Is Anyone Missing a Tabby?

Sadly, a beautiful dark tabby cat has been found dead in the hedge at Clump House. It appears to have been in good condition and has no obvious damage such as could have been caused by being hit by a car.

If you think it may belong to you or know someone who may be the owner please contact Jane Nicholls on 01295 730387.

Has Anyone Seen These 2 Missing Cats?

Ginger (a large ginger cat) and Twiglet (a ginger and white striped cat) want missing on Tuesday (October 13th) evening.

If anyone has seen them please could you call Horley Manor on 01295 730256, or Charles on 07973 173046 or Kate on 07791 399227.

Their owners would be so grateful.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated and bid at yesterday’s Charity Harvest Festival Auction.

A new record was achieved by raising £800 which will go to Banbury Young Homeless (BHYP) and Let’s Play Project.

A special thanks to Hadsham Farm who donated a half a frozen pig and a Christmas tree, each item raising around £100!
