Sunday 23rd Aug 1500 to 1600 – Edgehill Ringers Afternoon Tea
Thursday 10 Sep 1930 to 2100 – Banbury Branch Practice
Saturday 24th Oct 1430 to 1600 –  Ringing Course

When we do get it will open up all sorts of other services and entertainment packages so its worth shopping around and seeing if you can get a bundle which will give you the best overall deal. Oxfordshire Rural Broadband lists providers here  and you should also check with your mobile provider as they too have formed consortiums. Deb

Have You Noticed the Horley Header Photo?

Just in case you’ve not visited thehorleyviews.com site recently we have a new header photo of Horley Village, its included in this post below but looks best on the site on a large screen.

This photo is up in the Old School without a date, any ideas? I know it was before 1996 as the conifers are all still lined up round our place, it looks like building work at the Dairy Court ……… any other clues??? What On This Week – July 13th

teddy bear picnicThis week sees the beginning of the school summer holidays and many of the groups tent to also take a break.

This morning is Horley Playgroup end of term Teddy Bears Picnic party, be sure to bring along your favourite soft toy and a plate of goodies for lunch (might also need a mac and umbrella) !

Yoga will continue until 29th July and return 2nd September as will the Cinema Club return in September.

Cricket Club is in full swing with matches, fitness training and the Summer Games this Friday.

Summer Cricket Update

Before the summer holidays: Summer Games and open Evening  Friday  July 17 at 6.30pm. Come and join in the fun and games on our favourite evening of the season, races, tombola, competitions, lots of fun for everyone. This year we are being sponsored by the England Cricket Board so as well as our normal burgers and hot dogs there will be salads and fruit – courtesy of Waitrose, included in our normal price of £2. If anyone has any donations for the tombola please bring them to the club on a Tuesday evening. As ever coaching will continue through the summer holidays and we will have our parents’ v children match on a date to be confirmed. Have a great summer holidays………….

Summer Games and open evening Friday 17th July at Horley Cricket Club 6.30pm.  Please come along and support our annual event, lots of fun for all, races, competitions, Tombola, BBQ and of course the bar will be open.

Garage Sale – This Saturday 4th July

garage sale

The Brae House Garage Sale is on this Saturday 4th July between 10am to 2pm-     Bell Street, Hornton, next to the Pavilion.

Most of it is just stuff we don’t use, wear, listen to or watch anymore.  Some of it is because we just  have less room in the new house. All of it though will be sold at bargain prices.
