Summertime Jazz Festival at Upton House July 7th

Local Big Band joins Upton’s annual Jazz night

Famous Jazz musician Louis Armstrong once said “There is two kinds of music, the good & the bad. I play the good kind.” Well the same can be said of the Great Central Big Band. Local to Upton House we are delighted for them to be headlining our annual jazz concert this year.

With no less than 20 members and a huge selection of instruments from drums to saxophone, including the flute, clarinet, trombone and trumpets. They will take us on a jazz journey from the 1920s right through to modern day, with some old classics and more modern greats. Join in the singing and dancing on the vast lawn at Upton on Saturday 7thJuly, perfect for a family evening out.

Cotswold Distillery will also be on hand to showcase some master classes on making the perfect Gin cocktail. Why not bring a picnic, treat yourself to a drink from the bar and relax on the grass on a lovely summer evening?

Experience the magic of Lambing at Your Local Farm!

Lambing at Hadsham Farm open to the public: 24th March-15th April 2018

Every spring we lamb 250 ewes in our barns, before turning some 400 lambs and their mothers out onto the new grass in our rolling meadows when the weather warms up.

For the second year in a row, we are opening the farm gates to the public to allow them to see what happens – from birth right through to the lambs’ first steps out on the fresh spring grass.

There are goats and pigs too!

All refreshments in aid of charity (Air ambulance, Catherine house, Horley church).

Click Hadsham Farm for more information or visit Hadsham Farm Facebook Page.
