Come to Wroxton’s first ever Tea Concert in the Church this Sunday 20th September at 3.30pm.
Featuring Simon Mayor and Hilary James who are an absolutely brilliant duo that have played at festivals throughout the world. Expect anything from traditional folk, jazz standards, Celtic, ragtime, blues…..Simon’s dry wit and mandolin wizardry (he’s one of the world’s leading virtuosos), not to mention his fine guitar and fiddle playing) meets Hilary’s “wonderfully honey-dripping voice” and unusual basses! She might even manage a step-dance if the wind’s in the right direction. Hear them at www.mandolin.co.uk or more on http://mayorandjames.com
This is a rare chance to see this renowned duo for free, however donations for both the Musicians and the Church would be greatly appreciated. Plus tea and cakes, and beautiful music fun for all the family. Thanks Susan susan.thompson@onetel.net
