With Holy Week just around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about the Pilgrimage which will be taking place from  Worcester to the Ironstone Benefice.  On Palm Sunday, after a short service we will walk from Alketon to Hornton. The Pilgrims will leave after a short service starting at 9.45. When we reach Hornton ( at approx.  11.50) there will be a short service in St. John Baptist Church, followed by prayers in the Methodist Chapel. After that it will be a walk across the fields to Horley, with prayers at 1.20, followed by lunch in the Red Lion at 1.30. Feeling well rested, it’s onto Hanwell for Evensong at 3. You make take part in the whole walk, or just come along for parts of it. But please let The Reverend Hugh know if you intend to have lunch at The Red Lion as Natasha will need to know numbers.

This year Palm Sunday falls on March 29th.
