Concorde is the Subject of the Next MHT Talk on 26th April

The next MHT talk will be given by ex Concorde Captains David Rowland and Norman Britton at the Old School on Friday April 26th at 7.30. Tickets are selling out fast so book soon if you are interested!  See below for details.

2nd Showing of Bohemian Rhapsody Friday April 5th

Due to popular demand there will be a second showing of the popular film ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’.

It will be held in the Old School on Friday April 5th at 8 o’clock free of charge.

Doors open at 7.30pm when the bar will be open for your enjoyment. No need to book just turn up, but please be prompt.

Cancelled – Thursday 28th ‘Knit and Stitch’ Meeting

As there is a Michael Hardinge Trust Talk being held in the Old School this Thursday (March 28th), this week’s ‘Knit and Stich’ Group meeting is cancelled.

Horley’s Knit and Stitch Group Starts Again Thursday Feb 14th


Feeling creative this new year and would like to improve, share or learn new skills?

Then come along to the next meeting of the  ‘Knit and Stitch’ group on Thursday Feb 14th.

Various crafts are carried out including knitting, crochet, tapestry and quilting, in a friendly and convivial atmosphere (along with homemade shortbread!).

The group meet every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the week at the Old School from 7 – 9pm (see calendar for actual dates).

There is a small charge of £2, which goes towards hiring the room, but if there are any young, school students who’d like to come along then there will be no charge.
