Horley’s Summer fete is back this year, from 2pm to 4:30pm on Saturday 16th July. If you have any children’s books or toys you no longer need or you have any donations for the tombola, please contact us on horleyviews@outlook.com

The annual village Spring Clean (litter pick) will take place at 10:00 on Saturday 26th March.
If you can spare some time to help out please could you gather in front of the Old Post Office on the corner of Banbury Lane at 10:00 on 26th March. Litter pickers, protective gloves and rubbish and recycling bags will be provided by CDC. If you have you own gloves, that would be great, as you are urged to protect yourselves against any risk of infection, and take care to wash your hands thoroughly after the Spring Clean has been completed.
Let’s keep Horley looking fabulous!
On Sunday 31st October children who live in Horley (and their parents) are invited to take part in a Halloween Trail around the village. Just like last year, children will be following a map (see below) to find different spooky items (and of course sweets!) located around the village. However unlike last year, we are also allowed to knock on doors and trick or treat. We would love villagers to join in by putting out their pumpkins to signal that you don’t mind a group of hungry children knocking on your door!
Maps and glow sticks for children will be available from underneath the village notice board. Children are welcome to start the trail anytime after 5pm. If you would like us to email you a copy of the map or if you have any other questions please contact Sarah at sarahtaylor0403@gmail.com
Thanks and Happy Halloween!
