Dog Fouling – A Polite Request
This is a reminder to all dog owners to ‘Pick Up the Poo’ after your pet. There have been a few instances recently around the churchyard where dog fouling has occurred and this is particularly unpleasant being in an area of special importance to many Horley families.
For information: ‘If you allow a dog in your charge to foul any area to which the public has access you are committing an offence. The penalty for not clearing up dog fouling can be up to £1000 if the case is dealt with by the magistrates courts, or £50 if the owner is given a fixed penalty notice.’
So please be minded to pick up after your pet in any public area – you can collect council provided bags from outside 10 Lane Close so there’s no excuse!
