Ironstone Benefice Autumn and Harvest Craft Morning – Saturday Oct 8th

Please see details below of the craft morning taking place this Saturday for children age 8 and under at Drayton Village Hall. Please contact Revd Alicia Baker if you have children who would like to join in the creative fun!

We would also like to take this opportunity to let you know that the Ironstone Benefice is now on Facebook! You can find us by searching in Facebook for “Ironstone Benefice Oxfordshire”. The “Oxfordshire” is important: as many of you may be aware, there is another Ironstone Benefice in the North East of England!

We would be grateful for some likes so we have enough to set up an @ username. Many thanks!

Lesley Blake, Admin Assistant to Revd Alicia Baker

Important Notice – Defibrillator not working

There is a fault with the defibrillator on the wall outside the Red Lion Public House. The necessary authorities have been informed. However this does mean that the Ambulance Service have de-activated the service temporarily.

In case of emergency. 999 should still be dialled.

A Message from Horley Parish Council and Parochial Church Council

It is with great sadness that we heard from Buckingham Palace of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday 8th September 2022.

In common with the rest of the nation, the church bell will toll from 12 noon today, Friday.

In addition, a book of condolence will be made available in the Church from tomorrow, Saturday, for those wishing to pay their respects.   There is also an opportunity to pay your respects on-line to the e-book of condolences on https://www.royal.uk/royal-family
