Following the success of the lino-printing workshop last November, Tracey and Claud are back with another event to raise funds for Katharine House Hospice.
A ‘Winter Wonderland’ painting evening will take place in the Old School on Friday 6th Feb from 6:30 pm. To book a place, please contact Tracey or send an email to: horleyladiesguild@gmail.com
Claud says:
‘Come to an evening of painting your very own ‘Winter woodland’ canvas. Paint along with me and I promise you will finish with a beautiful painting that you will be proud of, with lots of fun and and laughter along the way. You don’t have to have any experience, you just need to have plenty of enthusiasm! I will provide all the materials. I look forward to seeing you, all in aid of Katharine House Hospice.
A big thank you to everyone who came along to the Horley fete recently, and special thanks to Megan Bottoms who took some great photos of the event – see below.
As it’s clear from the photos, everyone seemed to be having a good time! The refreshments in the Old School were very popular (delicious cakes – thank you all the bakers!) and there was an excellent selection of stalls in the Church. What’s more, we raised a fantastic £2,300 for our Church and local charities, so thank you again!
Loads to do at the Horley fete tomorrow – here are just a few of the stalls in the Church. There are also refreshments in the Old School, plus home made cakes, tombola, wheel of fortune, great raffle prizes and lots of games including guess the weight of the tortoise!
Only a few days to Horley’s Summer Fete on Saturday 14th June!
Come and enjoy home made cakes and tea, Pimm’s and ice cream There are some great new stalls this year and lots of games and activities for all ages.
It’s not too late to let us have any children’s clothes, toys or books that you no longer need. They can be dropped off at the School Hall on Friday 13th after 3pm, or email us at horleyladiesguild@gmail.com and we will collect.
