Fancy Learning to Tap Dance?

Feeling Inspired to learn to Tap Dance after watching the wonderfully hilarious Horley Footlights Production of ‘Stepping Out’, or just fancy getting fit and dancing?

Beginner and Intermediate Classes commence on Monday April 1st (no this is not an April Fool!) at The Old School Horley.

Beginners class will be from 6.30 – 7.15 and Intermediate from 7.15 – 8.00. Cost is £5.00 per session.

Cancelled – Thursday 28th ‘Knit and Stitch’ Meeting

As there is a Michael Hardinge Trust Talk being held in the Old School this Thursday (March 28th), this week’s ‘Knit and Stich’ Group meeting is cancelled.

New Art and Craft Workshops in Hornton – April sessions booking now

Hornton artist and printmaker, Chris Woodcock, has launched an art and craft workshop programme at her home studio, running April to November this year.Offering friendly tuition by Banburyshire experts, the workshops on offer range from portrait photography to life drawing, needlework and craft projects and screen printing.

Easter Card MakingThursday 4 April, 2 – 4.30pm. £28.
Led by Sally Moret. You take away as many beautiful cut-out, decorated cards as you can make in the time, using Sally’s inventive designs as your base. Includes tea/coffee and home-made cake.

Fabric Bunting MakingTuesday 9 April, 10am – 3.30pm. £34.
Led by Jane Moffatt. Beautiful and unusual decorative bunting, devised to suit your colour scheme or a special occasion. Plus a bag to keep it in. Plus a buffet lunch!

The annual village litter pick will take place at 10.00 on the morning of Saturday 23rd March.  

Please could volunteers who are able to spare an our or two gather in front of the Red Lion. Hi-vis tabards, protective gloves, picking equipment and sacks will be provided by Cherwell District Council.

Let’s keep Horley looking fabulous!

 

Stepping Out Tickets Selling Out Fast!

 There are only 9 tickets left on Thursday and 2 for Saturday (none for Friday) – so if you want to see this ‘not to be missed comedy’ of the year you need to act fast!

Also a gentle reminder to all those who have yet to collect and pay for their tickets please hurry up and do so!
