‘Wroxton Lane outside Rivendell will be blocked at 10.00am for 2 hours on 6th December 2022 as we will be pumping liquid concrete over our house. Please ask the villagers to seek an alternative route during that time and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.’

Support Banbury Young Homeless Project at the Horley Christmas Market

Graham Curd and Simon Attfield will have a stand at this year’s Christmas Market in aid of Banbury Young Homeless Project. All items are made by themselves from recycled wood and include planters, chopping boards, serving platters, mirrors and much more.

This is an ideal opportunity to purchase many of your Christmas presents and support an excellent local cause.

A reminder that the Christmas Market is in St Etheldreda’s Church on

Saturday 26th November from 4-6pm

Horley Nativity – your help needed!

The Horley Nativity will take place on Sunday 18th December at 4pm at Saint Etheldredra’s. Things will a bit different this year as our fabulous former director, Tessa, has after 17 years decided to take a back seat. Obviously hers are fairly hard shoes to fill but already we have a great team in place made up of Annaliese, Louisa and Sarah.

What we are looking for is children and adults to take part in any way – be a sheep, a king, an angel, to sing a solo, join the choir or do a reading.

Please get in touch if you would like to be involved.

There will be two rehearsals on the mornings of Sunday 11th and Sunday 18th December.

Please contact Sarah Allitt on 07834 370767 or email allittsarah@gmail.com

Services at St Etheldreda’s in November

For details of the services taking place at other Ironstone Benefice Churches, please visit achurchnearyou.com for the latest Benefice Service Schedule ((located in the Notice Sheets section on St Etheldreda’s page).

Many thanks.
