Despite the current situation with coronavirus you will still be able to obtain this season’s plants by ordering by phone from Quarry Nurseries in Hornton.

This is just to let you know that Philip Gilbert is going to be able to sell plants up at Quarry Nurseries later this months but, in order to keep everyone safe, he’s having to make special arrangements and asks that his customers bear with him.

He is going to open on April 27 and will be taking orders – only by telephone – from the day before, April 26. His phone number is 07903 655267.

He’d like his customers to look on his website nearer the time – it’s being revamped at the moment – where you can find a full list of plants for sale. Please call him, place your order and arrange a time when you can collect them when it’s possible for customers to visit safely without others being present. You won’t be able to go into the nursery but Phillip will be able to come out with the plants you’ve ordered.

You can pay by credit card but, to minimise contact, Phillip would prefer if you paid by bank transfer. His bank details will also be on the website shortly.

Phillip says he’s really grateful for the loyalty of his regular customers, many of whom have already been in touch to check that he will be open, and he asks that everyone co-operates in these difficult times so that we all stay safe.
