This year’s Nativity and Carol Service will take place at St. Etheldreda’s on Saturday Dec 18th at 5.00pm. It will be a slightly different approach to the traditional Christmas Story, to suit all ages. Unfortunately the Pop Up Thai at the Red Lion on 23rd November has had to be cancelled as the pub is closed until 2nd Dec due to Covid restrictions.
‘A Vanished Past’ by Clare Marchant is a series of volumes describing various aspects of village life in Horley throughout the 20th century. Book 5 is now available – see attached flyer for more details.
Horley’s Candlelit Christmas Market is back again this year in St Etheldreda’s Church on Saturday 27th November from 4-6pm. Lots of Christmassy stalls, mulled wine, delicious home made goodies and a great hamper raffle – what’s not to like!
Pop up Pizza night at the Red Lion is back on Friday 12th November from 6pm to 9pm.
The kitchen will be set up in the beer garden, accessible through the side gates.
Take away or eat in at the pub.

Gluten free pizzas and vegan free cheese options are available.
Under 18s with their parents will be tolerated until 8pm 🙂
