There will be Rounders and Races at the cricket club this coming Sunday, 21st July, from 2pm:

Rachel and Vanessa have already had a great response from the village regarding guests for the Horley Progressive Dinner and those who have been kind enough to host.
They say: ‘Do let us know as soon as possible if you are hoping to attend so we can finalise numbers in good time.
As you may be aware we are changing things up a bit this year and having pudding and drinks back at The Old School.
If you would be able to provide a pudding we would be very grateful, all calories will be used up walking up the hill so the more the merrier!’
Please contact Rachel on curds64@btinternet.com or Vanessa on keenevanessa@gmail.com
See below for details of an Ironstone Benefice event at The Bell, Shenington this Sunday.
Everyone is welcome but there is a maximum capacity of thirty and booking is essential so that numbers for breakfast are known ahead of time.

Horley Manor stables were broken into last night as were the garages and outbuildings belonging to the houses at the top of Manor Orchard. Please can everyone make sure they lock all their outbuildings and do not leave tools/gardening equipment outside.
Sadly, the cricket club has to report that some time between Sunday teatime and Tuesday morning one of the equipment garages was broken into and grounds equipment taken. This includes two rotary mowers, two strimmers, a backpack blower and a leaf vacuum.
The police have been informed, but if anyone noticed or heard anything suspicious can they please contact Rosie Tubb on rosieejb@gmail.com or David Beck on dmbeck6@gmail.com.
Meanwhile we would encourage all to check security on their outbuildings, sheds etc.
Rosie Tubb – Chair Horley Cricket Club.
