Plant and cake sale – thank you

A huge thank you from the Ladies Guild to everyone who supported our home made cake sale earlier this month – we hope everyone enjoyed their purchases! We raised £254 from the cake sale and a fantastic £880 from the plant stall up to and including the plant and cake sale day. Proceeds will go towards further repairs to the Church and to the Michael Hardinge Trust.

Caroline would also like to thank everyone who purchased plants and gave sponsor money during the last two weeks to Duggie for his (and her) 10 mile walk for the Katherine House Hospice, which raised over £400.

Thank you!

Clothes sale in Hornton this Sunday

Hornton is having a nearly new sale of pre-loved and designer ladies clothes in the garden of the Dun Cow on Sunday (11th July) from 12 noon to 4pm.

All Covid regulations will be observed  and all proceeds will go to village causes.

Usually, the clothes stall is one of the highlights of May Day but, as there hasn’t been a May Day for the past two years, there are loads of really lovely clothes on sale at bargain prices.

Plant stall update

Caroline’s plant stall in Lane Close has been a great hit over the last few months. She’d like everyone to know that she has fresh material this week so there are loads of lovely plants available to buy still.

All proceeds in the next two weeks are for Katherine House Hospice via Duggie’s 10 mile sponsored walk.

Reminder – home made cakes and plants for sale tomorrow at the Old School Horley

Come along to the Old School tomorrow afternoon (3rd July) between 2:30 and 4pm where the Ladies Guild will be selling delicious home made cakes, as well as plants from Caroline’s famous plant stall! All proceeds to local charities.
