If you are interested in finding out more about the Ladies Guild and / or helping with these or other events, why don’t you come along to our next meeting as a taster session? We will meet in the Old School at 7.30pm for drinks, nibbles (and chat!), before the meeting at 8pm.

Not long now till the Coronation!
Horley bells will be ‘Ringing for the King’ on Saturday 6th May from 15:15 to 16:00 – listen out and/or come to the Church to watch.
Then on Sunday 7th May it’s the village Coronation Lunch at Hadsham Farm.
Lots of you have already booked tables and chairs to be sure you don’t need to bring them with you – and they can be decorated in advance if you are feeling creative! There are still a few left which can be booked by emailing: horleyladiesguild@gmail.com or by asking any of the Ladies Guild.
You are also welcome to just come along on the day – there are picnic tables outside or you could bring your own chairs to make sure you get a seat indoors if the weather doesn’t look too promising!
And don’t forget there will be a celebratory cake and fizz!
More details below:

Come and join us at our village celebration for the Coronation of King Charles.
If you would like to reserve a table for the Coronation Celebrations (you could go up in the morning and set up your own Coronation decorations), then please let Alison Tite, Helen Moss, Tracey Parsons or Sandra Easton know. Who will have the most regal table?

Spend a few hours in good company in the lamb barn at Hadsham Farm to mark this historic event. The barn will be decorated and chairs and tables will be provided both indoors and outdoors, alongside the children’s play area.
Bring along a picnic and we will provide the toast – make it a day to remember before going home to watch the Coronation Concert. The Ladies Guild will also provide some delicious cakes for everyone (other volunteers’ cakes will be gratefully received)
More details to follow.
Graham Curd and Simon Attfield will have a stand at this year’s Christmas Market in aid of Banbury Young Homeless Project. All items are made by themselves from recycled wood and include planters, chopping boards, serving platters, mirrors and much more.
This is an ideal opportunity to purchase many of your Christmas presents and support an excellent local cause.
A reminder that the Christmas Market is in St Etheldreda’s Church on
Saturday 26th November from 4-6pm
