Horley’s Summer Fete this year is on Saturday 25th June and will once again include the popular bric-a-brac stall. So please dig out any toys, books and other bric-a-brac you no longer need and someone from the Ladies Guild will be round to take them off your hands during week commencing 13th June.
And whilst you’re having a cleansing sort out of your cupboards and places for bric a brac, if you come across any spare bottles of wine or tombola prizes you would like to donate, the Ladies Guild will happily take them off your hands too and put them to good use.
Don’t forget then to come along and enjoy this wonderful annual event from 2 to 5pm, in the Old School and Church.
Raffle Prize Draw – first prize £100 cash, second prize a BMW for a weekend. Stalls include the tombola, plants, bric-a-brac, homemade cakes, nice or nasty jars, water or wine and many more. And of course there will be refreshments – teas, cakes, Pimms and a barbecue – so you won’t go hungry or thirsty!
(Please drop off donations of cakes and homemade produce on Saturday morning.)
